Shōjō Beer Co.
Shōjō Beer Co. was created by a Miami born and raised husband and wife team; Haidar Hachem is Lebanese while Marilyn Orozco is Nicaraguan. Shōjō translates to heavy drinker and is known as a Japanese blushed faced & hairy sea spirit. This monster that represents us is known to be a good brewer, loves the beach and is always happily tipsy on his own (hence the blushed, red cheeks) brews. Fun fact: he also looks like Haidar Hachem, co-owner and head brewer. Anyone who comes near a Shōjō, will be delighted to see that the Shōjō are more than happy to share their brews. In folklore tales, it is said that depending on what kind of person you are is how the drink the Shōjō brews will taste. If you are a good person then it’ll be the best tasting drink you’ve ever had in your life… but if you’re a bad person then the drink can taste toxic and even become poisonous and kill you.
Our main goal is to ensure that our drinks always bring out of the best in everyone. Craft beer truly can make a difference… even if it is one brew at a time. And that’s what we are here for! KANPAI!
